குப்தா எங்கள் தாத்தா
குணம் குன்றா தாத்தா.
ஒற்றுமைக்கு விலையாக
தன்னைத் தந்த தாத்தா.
என்னைப் பெற்ற தந்தைக்கு
ஏற்றம் தந்த தாத்தா.
ஒன்பது பெரிய சங்கங்களை
ஒன்றாய் இணைத்த தாத்தாவே!
ஓராயிரம் பேதமிருந்தும்
ஒருங்கிணைத்த தாத்தாவே!!
அழுக்காய் திரிந்து அவதியுற்றோர்
மிடுக்காய் வாழ வழி வகுத்து,
மண்ணில் நீயும் மனிதனென்ற
மாண்பைத் தந்த தாத்தாவே!
உனது வாழ்க்கை நாங்கள் வாழ
ஆசி தாரும் தாத்தாவே!
உன்னை பெற்ற இந்த மண்ணு
உயர்வு பெறுது தாத்தாவே!
தக்க தக திமி தாளம் போட்டு
ஆடுகின்றேன் தாத்தாவே!
தாவிக் குதித்து உனது மடியில்
விழுந்தெழுவேன் தாத்தாவே!
விழுந்தெழுவேன் தாத்தாவே!
குண்டு கன்ன தாத்தாவுக்கு
கொடுக்கும் முத்தம் தாராளம்.
கொஞ்சி உந்தன் தோளில் தொங்க
ஆசை எனக்கு ஏராளம்!
